I learned to fly here in 1995. Love this place
Lovely place for upside down
Nice place to fly into. Make sure you read the plate and call for PPR before you set off.
Very Tidy Aerodrome. Pleasant atmosphere. Next to Peterborough Parachute club. Very good visit.
Skydiving is a wonderful experience and I would encourage everyone to try it. I had my original skydive cancelled because it was too cloudy however I went the next day and it was fine (no one can control the weather). I had a tandem jump as it was my first attempt, training was good and there was plenty of opportunities to ask questions. Plenty parking, however if you can bring your own food DO IT as it can be pricey if you have a family to feed. Why did I give 4 stars? You have to pay on the day to jump, even if the weather is dodgy, there are no refunds however you have 12 months to rebook. We had about 4 cars travel 30 - 50 miles to get there, so this journey had to be repeated. I had my own GoPro, but was not allowed to use it (body strap). Very good experience in total, just a bit upset at the food prices because I had to fork out money for two days and not much communication regarding possible no jumps. Would I go again? Of course.
