This park is very well appointed with facilities, activities lots of open grass areas with hard footpaths to walk and cycle on and has excellent car parking. We take our dog there several times a week and are very disappointed by the number of irresponsible dog owners who do not pick up after their dog also used bags strewn around the the park when bins are provided. Come-on please be more considerate. Children play in these areas too. There is a very good cafe at the watersports centre with an indoor seating area with a log fire where you can enjoy a snack or coffee with your dog, how good is that! All in all something for everyone get out in the fresh air and enjoy yourselves and be healthy.

Brilliant park with a great range of activities for everyone. 3 play areas each adapted to a different age range. We like the area to build shacks with branches in a corner of woods. Whatever your abilities, there's something for everyone here. The new car park charge however puts people off which is a shame.

We live 15 minutes walk from Ferry Meadows and so visit fairly often. Play parks are great for the kids and there are lots of off track routes to go down. The watersports centre is great in the summer and the swan boats are fun (and a good workout!). They have various nature walks on throughout the year and nature trail hunts in school holidays. They also do children's birthday which my son has been to which was lovely, a small group of approx 8 children do pond dipping, crafts and nature learning with a dedicated guide. They also have BBQ pits on the green near the park close to the Riverside restaurant.

This is a very large, amazing place to be outdoors. Miles of walkways around the rivers and lakes. Or just though the woods. There is a gift shop, cafe and mini train right by the car park. Along with three play areas and many other activities

Perfect for long walks with the dog and family. Has a nice little cafe and parks dotted around, perfect for children. Lovely view of the lake as you walk around. It is well kept and very clean. With a big car park that is cheap to use.
