Good customer service and friendly staff.

Very friendly helpful lady who served me in George. As was the lady in the supermarket at the till despite waiting to go on her tea break.

Don't know where to start... First of all, after pulling in tonight I noticed I had a flat tyre, so I went in store where I was directed by a young chap to the "car section" picked up a can of tyre foam, a few other bits and bobs then tried to pay for the stuff. After queueing.. The self checkouts would not scan properly. Every time I tried to scan the tyre foam in it put a red light up. After the 2nd attempt I picked up the stuff I wanted and decided to pay for it at the Cigarette kiosk. There was no-one on duty there, the queue was getting silly so I walked up and queued at a check out where a very chatty guy was on the tills, smashing bloke, right attitude...Then I started walking out and was accosted by the young lady that had reset the self scan machine once... who actually grabbed me, (that is assault by the way) and accused me of trying to leave the store without paying. "It didn't scan through". I know, I told her, "I went to a checkout and paid for it there". She then tried to look in my bag. So I upended my Asda bag on the floor and showed her the receipt for everything I had bought. In front of your security guard. Who did SFA. And no doubt on camera. This would be at approx 17:40. I'm the guy in the checkered shirt. OK, I know it's about profit protection but you really need to advise your staff that this is what Security are there for. Not your checkout assistants. There are ways to do this. If a bloke had grabbed me I would have reacted differently. And then. I'm registered diabled. I have cancer. In March I had my bowel removed. I deal with it, remember some disabilities are not obvious? I looked at my car, parked in a disabled bay showing the blue badge, 2nd bay from the doors and decided the tyre foam wouldn't do the job. So I got the spare out, jacked it up, changed the tyre. It took me ages because I have no real core strength. Not ONE person in your lovely city offered to help. Which is a damming example of Peterborough's people. Glad I don't often come to Peterborough.

Depressing atmosphere, although one cashier was absolutely lovely and radiant.

Not enough cashiers, I'm always queuing ages as they only seem to have a few tills open. The self service machines are poor and I constantly need to call staff over for assistance. Nice location, but the product range could be better and sometimes items are broken.
