Amazed. What a quirk in the city of grey! Bespoke shops, the BEST optician ever, a vegan shop, a burger bar, sandwiches, SoulHappy, so much more! This is a lovely retreat from the main walks of Peterborough, and is right in the heart of the city.
A short and quirky arcade next to the main queensgate shopping centre. You wont find any chain stores here - explore the range of independent businesses and boutiques instead. Theres occasionally an empty window or two in here as companies come and go, but theyre usually replaced quickly with something new.
Whole arcade is well kept with good array of stores. Older west gate arcade has small shops but several are empty. Parking good. Look for green car park if you have electric car
Hotel Chocolat have such a varied selection for great quality vegan products. It is worth paying a bit more but the quality is superb and far more satisfying than the average bar of commercial chocolate. The staff are friendly and helpful but they also understand that people with dietary requirements deserve the best quality too
The best part of the city centre. A few quid has been thrown at this place in recent years to make it look really good. Has some nice shops too.
