Great! Especially good after its redecoration - good value and lovely atmosphere.
Nice decor. Several screens for the sports fans. Pool table. It's off the beaten track, so you may have to look hard, or ask for directions.
Our works local pub..... Clean, bright and friendly atmosphere..... Pool table and juke box.... Leather sofas and soft chairs..... Bar is small so maybe a slight wait when busy.... Newly decorated with pictures of sports memorabilia fitted to the ceilings.... Good place for an after work couple of beers....
Wow! Have always driven past but never gone inside. Decided on a whim to go in tonight and wasn't disappointed. The food was superb, piping hot and delicious. The halloumi fries are to die for.Free dessert with main on Wednesdays so we had 12 quid worth of dessert for free. Service was excellent.Highly recommend!
Enjoyed a great deal here at Sunday lunch. An excellent fish platter and a bottle of wine for only 20. Loads of fish served very nicely with various sauces and chips. 3 of us enjoyed this but for those with bigger appetites, it would easily satisfy 2. Incredible value and quality.This is a really good pub with excellent fish & chips and exceptionally good staff. You should go there, you'll love it.
