Issue with my online passport renewal. The customer service don't deal directly with the passport office. For days it becomes ground hog day, we will get them to ring you. You missed the call. They rang once my phone not showing missed call on the second attempt.It's a problem with their software but they make no attempt to move things on. Very stressful dealing with them.

The HM PASSPORT OFFICE in peterborough is a busy office at the best of times there is no parking at the office site itself but a council run multistory car park is across the way with a ANPR CAMERA CONTROLLED PARKING system and is signed on the way into the city centre disabled parking spaces are on the lower floors along with pay points taking payment by cards and cash. the passport interview centre does not allow friends into the interview area. but carers are and you will need to be security checked on the way in. The fast track desk is at the front of the room with a seated area and the interview waiting area to the back of the room in the building.A photo booth is available at (6) for your photos of yourself. There are toilets available on site with disabled accessible facilities. all the staff are helpful and friendly
Amazing is all I can say, my daughter (16) wanted to change her name so couldnt get a passport until she was 16 5 days ago, we paid extra for a 1 week fast track become we fly in 10 days time and in less then 48 hour from her interview her passport was in her hand. Only giving 3 stars due to her having to go into the passport office herself I wasnt even aloud to wait with her I had to wait outside the building and she is only 16, she cant vote or even be interviewed by police without and adult until she is 18 but had to go through that a lone, of it wasnt for the fact I wasnt aloud with her I would of giving full stars. Following a competition win I needed to get a child's first passport very quickly for my daughter. The lady who conducted the appointment was very helpful. I explained the circumstances and although a time could not be promised they would do what they could. The passport arrived in two days. A very big thank you to the Passport Office.
