Incredible insight into the past. Really enjoyable
Took my children here for a day long activity club. They absolutely loved it. There were well looked after, completed a massive range of activities and wanted to go back for more. The actual site is amazing, and though it is now closed for the winter season is well worth a visit when it reopens in spring. It is a world renowned site, specific to the bronze age, with artefacts not found anywhere else in the world. This is all just outside Peterborough, just as the city disappears, and the beautiful Fens of East Anglia begin.
Smaller than I remember from when I was a kid, really nice area, there sheep are cute. Nicely presented. Little gift shop. Does activity days.
They do a good job with what is there. Despite being an important historical site there is not a lot to actually see due to its age. It shows signs of needing more funding.
Well worth a visit! Fascinating to see such a wonderful piece of local history. Very reasonable entry price too. A lovely morning out.
