Just back from evening dinner with three friends. The food and service were excellent and the restaurant's warm and welcoming ambience ensured a relaxed and satisfying dining experience. The restaurant was full, but food still arrived in a timely manner and on properly hot plates, hallelujah!! Definitely one to revisit.
Second time I've been here and I love it! Food is excellent, staff have the balance of leaving you to enjoy your meal but attentive enough to make the evening enjoyable.
The dining experience was as follows. We arrived and were not greeted at all. We were not asked at all if we would like a drink while we waited for our table. I had to ask twice for mustard. The staff were very pleasant but not attentive. I feel as if the restaurant has an air of complacency. The level of service is far better in other well know local establishment s and better value. The food was good and the wine was excellent. This is the third time I have eaten there and my feelings have been the same each time. Not bad but the service needs to reflect the cost.

What an amazing experience last week whilst we were visiting friends. The staff were beyond expectations, very attentive and the food ... smoked salmon was just as described on the menu .. the finest. impressive choice of wines. well worth a lot of visits ... if 6 stars was a possibility ... just wow. we cant wait to come back again thank you xx
