I was originally due to be an overnight patient on the women's ward, however, I was contacted by a lovely lady who asked if it was ok for me to be treated as a day care patient due to the amount of emergencies they had to deal with. She explained the process thoroughly and gave directions of where I would need to go. Arrived in the morning greated by friendly staff, the doctors who would be seeing me that day introduced themselves, explained the process and treated with dignity and respect. The nurses were fantastic through pre and post op, did not once make me feel uncomfortable. Thank you so much. NHS done right.

General it's a good place, all stuff are very helpful and kind. But why there is no room for cloakroom in such a massive building where you could leave your coat or jacket?? At least there could be some hooks in waiting area.

I was taken here due to an accident on the 14/12 about 17:30. I was treated with great care & sympathy by all staff, after seeing various Doctors & having an X-ray I was diagnosed with a 'Quadriceps Muscle Break', they advised that I would need to return for a Scan to assess what damage had actually occurred! On my return on Monday 17/12 at 10:00 I was very quickly transferred to a lovely ward with only 3 other patients & advised that an operation would be dealt with on Wednesday 19/12 by a Sports Injury Surgeon - Mr Blanco. The operation was duly performed & I must thank all of the Surgical Team, Ward Staff & Nurses who cared for me, the care could not have been better...Many thanks C Collin

I know it was a Saturday but it wasn't when the ambulance took my daughter in we were still waiting for a doctor 12 hrs later she discharged herself. we never have used this service before and I have to say if this is the NHS in 2019 then I am worried for the health of my family. i don't doubt they are dedicated but an elderly couple had been in that waiting room for 12hrs when we got there and he was admired hrs later. sorry but the service is not fit for purpose. Ambulance technicians were without fault fantastic, but the hospital no, sorry it's worrying that this is what is on offer.

I have the honour to be a volunteer at this excellent hospital. I cover the PALS desk two mornings a week and meet lots of patients and staff. All of the staff are hard-working and dedicated to assisting and healing.A year ago, I was a patient here and was treated impeccably. I have nothing but admiration for the women and men who work here.
