Have not had insurance with this company for 2 years, but suddenly have debt collectors chasing me for money allegedly owed to them.My bank records show that they took the final direct debit, as per the mandate, and I have an email to confirm the end of the policy from direct dial.I have tried to call direct dial to ask why they have passed me to debt collectors when I was all paid up as far as I was concerned, and why they have never contacted me themselves prior to this, but after spending half an hour waiting on the phone, I gave up.Absolutely disgraceful that I am having to prove I don't owe money to them from two years ago, and that I can't get in touch with them is all the more infuriating.Not sure who the watchdog is for insurance companies, but I feel I will be contacting them about this because it has caused a lot of unnecessary stress, not to mention the time I'm having to spend gathering all the documents to prove that I don't owe anything!
Absolutely awful company, I bought home insurance from them which covered removals, I had a lot of damaged items including new sofas ripped , broken iMac they sent a young assessor out to assess the damage who REFUSED to pay put on any of my damaged items, they collected my iMac and sent to a company called value checkers they then got back a report stating it couldnt be fixed Ive now waited for weeks to get a replacement my iMac is my lifeline yet nobody seems to be moving this forward customer services is a joke they cannot help with anything Im calling again this morning and this time I better get resolve or Im taking it legally further AVOID THIS COMPANY TOU ARE WASTING YOUR MONEY AS THEY WILL NEVER PAY OUT FOR ANYTHING
